At Affinity, we embrace Lean Manufacturing and are nearing completion of Phase 1 of our production floor reconfiguration. Implementing Lean Manufacturing has already added benefits of increased throughput, reduced inventory and higher product quality.
Phase II will further build on our Lean efforts, reducing lead times for our customers by smoothing the flow of products through the plant. Besides improving production, embracing Lean Manufacturing has improved our cultural landscape with greater involvement by every team member.
Our Lean journey continues to the benefit of the company, our team members and our valued customer partners.

I enjoy working for Affinity Medical as Administrative Assistant very much. Affinity is like my second home. When you call Affinity, I am usually the first person you will speak with because one of my jobs is to answer the phone! At Affinity I have the opportunity to learn a lot of new things every day. I also like to help others when they need me.
Every day is an adventure at Affinity. We are very bu
sy and there is always a lot of activity. I enjoy meeting our customers when they visit or come to perform quality audits. Often, when we have guests visiting for more than a few hours, we bring in lunch to save time. I really enjoy this part of my job because everyone is happy after a good lunch.

A day that starts with a dangling relationships and over defined sketches usually ends with a bottle of ibuprofen. Continue? Or stop and repair?

My husband Dave Johnson and I will be cruising with our 5 Grandchildren from Montreal to Boston this month. They range in ages from 11 to 21. It is our goal to spend at least one week a year with our grandchildren (without their parents) and provide an opportunity for the cousins to spend time together.
A few of the previous fun “Grandkid Adventures” were to the National Parks in Utah, a Caribbean Cruise and a Minnesota lake cabin. Spending time with kids helps us to think and stay young!
